David H. Stevens is a film and television actor, teacher, writer and director born Salt Lake County, Utah on March 3, 1971. His entertainment career spans 20 years and includes film, television, and stage productions as Actor, Director, Producer, Writer and Coach. David’s work in the film Cage in Box Elder received Academy Award consideration.

David has worked with notable Academy Award winning actors, directors, and producers such as the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Anthony Hopkins, Paul Thomas Anderson, and the legendary James L. Brooks to name just a few.

Early on while pursuing his artistic goals, David realized the great value of teaching. Learning that most disciplines of the martial arts require one to teach in order to reach the highest levels of mastery helped David make the connection that this would also apply to the creative arts. He developed The Mark Studio, an educational facility offering professional opportunities, where amateurs and experts mingled and worked together under David’s instruction. Many who participated have gone on to achieve successful careers.

Notable roles include Jesse James in AMC’s The American West, leading roles in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Punch Drunk Love starring Adam Sandler and Philip Seymour Hoffman, and a supporting role in the feature film Being Charlie directed by Rob Reiner.
